About Me
Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year! I look forward to getting to know your child, and watching them grow as students and individuals.
I earned my Bachelor’s in elementary education from McKendree University. I taught kindergarten for two years at St. Paul in Highland. I then moved to first grade in the Okawville School District. After my first child in 2014 I decided to stay home for a few years. In 2018, I transitioned back into teaching in the Edwardsville School District as a kindergarten teacher at Leclaire. I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Leclaire!
My husband, Reed, and I are the proud parents of two children. Ian is 4 years old and Emersyn (Emmy) is 9 months old.
I am a firm believer in parent/teacher communication. It keeps us all on the same page about students' work and behaviors. This hold the children accountable as well. I look forward to working with you as well as your child this school year. Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to me with questions or concerns.
